The First Major Advocacy Case: The Phoenician Funerary Stelae
The organisation followed up on the theft of Phoenician funerary stelae in Tyre, taking legal action and submitting a formal report to the Financial Public Prosecutor, while also coordinating with the Ministry of Culture. It launched a campaign to confront this violation, which threatened a unique cultural heritage in the region. This case became the organisation’s first major advocacy file and helped raise awareness about the risks of antiquities trafficking and the importance of protecting historical sites.
