Environmental Fisher Project
The organisation carried out this project with funding from the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) to promote sustainable fishing practices and improve environmental conditions in the ports of Tyre, Sarafand, and Sidon.
The project combined port clean-ups, engagement with fishing communities, and awareness activities on marine pollution. It also introduced fishermen to key marine species and their ecological roles, including endangered sea turtles.
The initiative helped build stronger cooperation with fishermen and advanced efforts to protect coastal ecosystems.
